The home shown in this project has multiple roof sections, valleys, hips, ridges, wall intersections, penetrations and chimney areas. On a roof with this geometry, the crew must coordinate where tear-off begins, how exposed areas are protected, where material is staged and how installation progresses without leaving vulnerable sections open longer than necessary.


The aerial view shows existing shingles remaining on some slopes while other sections have already been stripped, covered with synthetic underlayment and partially re-shingled. Property protection and debris control


Roof tear-off produces old shingles, nails, underlayment, flashing pieces and packaging. The images show large protective coverings around portions of the home and ground-level work areas. Ground-level photographs cannot show every roof plane on a large home. Drone documentation provides a broad view of progress, material coverage, crew distribution and complex intersections. It is useful for owner updates, project records, subcontractor coordination and identifying areas that deserve a closer inspection.


Drone images do not replace hands-on inspection, measurements, manufacturer instructions or engineering where required. They supplement those processes by creating a clear visual record of the work from angles that are otherwise difficult to capture.
